Applying to be a Volunteer at the Credit Union
* Volunteer Requirements
- Member in good standing for at least two years
- Good credit standing and no criminal convictions
- Not a current employee of this or a competing financial institution
- Not employed by this credit union within the past 12 months
- Willing to accept the responsibilities associated with the position
- Able to act independently and objectively regardless of external relationships with other directors, committee members and employees
- Able to meet the time commitment described below:
- Monthly preparation time prior to meetings (generally 1-2 hours)
- Monthly Board/Committee meetings (generally 1-2 hours)
- Attend called Committee meetings (generally 1½ hours)
- Volunteer Achievement Program (VAP) Training Modules (43 at home, self-paced and generally 3-4 hours per module)
- Annual Strategic Planning/Educational Meeting (approx. 5 days annually)
