Steps for a Greener Home
Visit the SEAI (www.seai.ie) website for information on grant application process. Select the grant application that is most suitable for your needs.
Select a SEAI registered contractor. Obtain a quotation for the works needed.
Submit grant approval letter and quotation for works needs.
Green Loan Terms and Conditions
- Minimum Loan Value €5,000.
- Loan Repayment Term up to ten years.
- SEAI home energy improvement grant approval required.
- Work must be performed by a SEAI registered contractor.
- Quote for works to be supplied with the green loan application.
- Loans are subject to approval based on affordability.
- Security maybe required.
* Variable rate of 6.5% p.a. Variable (6.7% APR)
** For a green home improvement loan of €10,000 with a variable rate of 6.5% and an APR of 6.7% with 72 monthly repayments of €168.10 over 6 years. The total amount repaid is €12,100 with a total cost of credit of €2,100. Figures correct as at 17th February 2024. Figures are for illustration only and do not constitute a contract.
